I am going to give myself permission to tell you the truth, I have had the most wonderful yet challenging year this year.
My prayer last year in December was to allow my deepest core desire which is to connect with humanity; to allow you to see me and feel me for who I really am and to let you embrace me.
It may not sound scary, but for somebody who always worked behind the scene...it somewhat is. I was the girl who took the pictures, but didn't like her picture taken, I was the writer behind the poem, I was the woman that kept it all together so others can thrive. This time, this is for me to love you and be open to be loved by you. It makes my heart smile.
Today, I am sure of a few things in life, let me share them with you…
What we are searching for is not outside of us The calling we hear within us, what we crave...
is looking for us too
The world is waiting for us to show up and step into the truth of who we really are
It is simpler than we think, the world only demands that we be HAPPY
That means saying YES to the people, places and things that brings us Joy.
Just as in Moana the movie, grandma says to Moana..."once you find what you like, there you are".
We knew this as kids, but we got attached to what society deems successful and good. We forgot what we loved doing and being fully submerged in.
What if I told you that all you had to do was relinquish your attachment to the "WHO" that you think you are to be the person you have always been.
What if it's as simple as looking for something in your own house, only to notice it's been right in front of you all along.
What if we just had to detach from the outcome and how we think it should be, or how we think it will manifest and show up
What if all you had to do was remember that amazing feeling of wholeness, gratitude, love, joy, peace with grace and ease that we get when we are in the arms of somebody we love, or holding our child for the first time, or feeling the sand or grass beneath our feet after a long, hard week. How about the hugs and kisses from our pets upon coming home. These kind of emotions, IS the key to everything that we crave. Remember, WE attract in our lives, who we are not what we want.
So, let me ask you...
What do you want?
What would it take for you to have the life you always wanted?
Who do you need to be to receive it?
What are you willing to do?
Are you willing to let go of who you are to be the kind of man or woman you always knew you were?
Are you open to allowing your life to look like it's falling apart to allow it to fall into place?
